Terminal Sorrow
This poem was the basis for the lyrics to the Petal song by the same name.

Sorrow for drinking excessively
Sorrow for fighting too
Sorrow for bringing you poverty
Sorrow for hurting you

Sorrow for being a viper
Sorrow for you were a dove
Sorrow for wringing your spirit dry
Sorrow for not showing you love

Sorrow for never a flower
Sorrow for no helping hand
Sorrow for losing all control
Sorrow for every demand

Sorrow for life passing quickly
Sorrow for you should have grown old
Sorrow for life now is all dispair
Sorrow for being so cold

My sould is a vapour
Here today
Gone in a moment
Terminal sorrow
